DESCRIPTION
One day workshop focused on best practices of cleaning and sanitation required by the Produce Safety Rule (PSR). Industry professionals, cooperative extension, and regulatory agencies will cover discussion topics including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, developing cleaning, and sanitizing programs, and packinghouse food safety basics. A brief overview of the PSR with guidance to understand current regulatory policies and requirements associated with cleaning and sanitizing for covered produce on farms.
